Overview

Why back-painted glass belongs behind the hob.

A splashback is toughened glass with colour lacquered onto its reverse face, then fired and sealed. The glass sits between the heat of a gas flame or induction ring and the wall behind it, taking the temperature without crazing, discolouring or lifting.

Because it goes up as one panel, there are no grout lines to trap grease and no seams to scrub — grease and splatter wipe away with a cloth. The colour is chosen from any RAL shade, so the splashback can disappear into the cabinetry or stand as the brightest surface in the room.

Every panel is measured on site, cut to the millimetre and drilled for the exact sockets, switches and fittings your kitchen needs — then delivered and installed by our own team.

Finishes

Four ways to finish the same panel.

The glass is the same toughened sheet each time — the finish is what changes the room.

Back-painted

Colour lacquer sprayed and cured on the reverse face, then sealed behind toughened glass. The result is a deep, even, glossy field of colour in any RAL shade — the workhorse finish for splashbacks behind a hob.
